Bekim Musa witness in Zoran Vukotic's war crimes trial showed how the accused forced him to fight his brother.
In Zoran Vukotik's trial of war crimes against the civilian population in the Vushtrri area, witness Bekim Moussa told of the persecutions he said he and the accused had done to him.
Bekim Musa indicated in court that he was imprisoned along with his brother while confessing how Vukotic had forced the two brothers to fight each other.
“Zorani forced me to beat up my brother Shukriun”, said witness Musa.
He then explained in detail how this beating happened.
They've got us face-to-face in the ring and they told us to beat up. We started beating up a little bit, then Zoran punched me and said no more. After that I told my brother better to beat me than to beat us and we started beating each other”, said witness Musa.
Responding to the prosecutor's questions about how the prisoners behaved in Smreconica when Zoran Vukotti was in exchange, the witness said there were prisoners who would not go to the prison kitchen to avoid torture.
When we've been in Smrekonica Prison, I know that when it was time for Zoran to stand guard, all the prisoners were scared. There are also those who have not even eaten because of fear of him”, the witness said.
He mentioned yet another occasion when he said he was beaten by Zoran Vukotqi.
“Zoran beat me with his hands when I went to the kitchen to eat bread”, the witness said.
Bekim Musa said he heard that the accused Vukotic had now forced a prisoner to beat his father.
I haven't seen him since I saw him, but I have a feeling that they've made the boy beat up my father and it's all very bad, that it's hard for my son to beat up there's no, much less when you're forced to,”, the witness said.
At the previous session, one of the witnesses indicated that he had seen Vukotiqi kill a 14-year-old in Vushtrri Studies.
