For the first time in Kosovo, oil quality has been controlled. Trade and Industry Minister Bajram Hasani has undertaken this action last week aimed at controlling the oil quality that enters Kosovo.
The action has been held for 24 hours, with a total of 59 Autobot oil being banned and samples taken.
And of these taken samples, accredited and authorised laboratory results from the MTI has turned out that the quality of 59 oil Autobots is to be consistent with the parameters set out with the Administrative Guide for Oil.
Minister Hasan in an interview for Indexline has said that despite these results there are doubts, so he will also hold further inspections to remove any doubts about oil quality.
The results were made by two labs accredited by the Ministry of Commerce, authorised that together with the inspection troops and the MTI Inspectorate, of course Customs involved. The results we've received and something has come up that was a little bit incredible for us too because the 59 Autobots have come up with a crossline of legislation, a standard set that MTI has. In these tests we really have doubts because 20 Autobots of oil have come out with the same density. This has led us to suspect” Hasani has said.

However, it has warned other oil inspections entering Kosovo and internal market gas stations.
“Well, this won't be the last action since we've continued until we make sure that this quality oil import will be imported. Of course, if we prove that import is okay, we will act on the domestic market, there will also be checks on the gas stations because it is possible to access quality oil from import, but within Kosovo's market, after misappropriations from fuel stations” the minister Hasani has said.
The action is the first such one to be undertaken in Kosovo. This decision by Minister Hasani has been supported by the Wildlife Association.
