Saimir Tahiri returns to Tirana, details revealed from visit to Germany

Not on Saturday as promised, but on Sunday. Saimir Tahiri has returned to Tirana after a several-day visit to Germany.

Tahiri's flight outside Albania sparked strong doubts about whether he had escaped or left for work. Sources say Tahiri has been in Germany to pay a visit to his father, who is being treated in this country.

Tahiri's father, the Union Tahiri, is taught that he has been treated in Germany for some time for a disease. That was also the reason for Tahir's departure.

Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha called yesterday for the removal of Saimir Tahiri's mandate, while the prosecution says it has been cited as necessary to block the former interior minister's passport, given permission to arrest him.

Saimir Tahiri has not commented on anything since October 30th, when he released a video on Facebook, ironising the opposition and the media.

But it seems that his mouth, the former minister, had closed the arrest on November 1st of Orest Sot, the young businessman who had 836 thousand euros in his car and two ship's licenses in the name of Tahiri, one with a bearded picture and the other without a beard.
