Pantina cites economy minister violating law on Kosovo Central Bank

Vetevendosje MP Shqip Pantina had a clash with Finance Minister Bedri Hamza, who has been BEC governor, saying she has committed legal violations when she has decided to resign from the CEC just one day before becoming minister, until the law says she should show three months ahead.

The governor and deputy governor should resign by writing a letter to the president or board of the CEC, at least three months ago. Now we have a minister who has come into office committing legal violations of a previous post”, Pantina said.

But Pantina received answers from Finance Minister Bedri Hamza, who said he has not violated any law. Hamza: No legal offenses have I made

You read the law, read it well, it's good that there's a good lawyer and I respect it. But there's a big difference between that and that, you know, it can and should.
