Nitaj admits that the prime minister influenced AAKA victory

The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, led by Ramush Haradinaj, became the winner of the municipal elections that were held on November 19th. The AAK has won 2 municipalities in the first round on October 22nd, Junic and Decanin, while Gjakova, Suhareka, Obilqi, Rahovecin's Klina in the second round of the runoff on November 19th, bringing the number of municipalities won to 7th.
Victory has named it the party's own leader, Ramush Haradinaj, adding that it is in fact targeted by Istog, Koha.net reports.
We're also waiting for Istog to win. With that we will become winners of 8 municipalities”, Haradinaj said at a news conference held for the media following preliminary results from the CEC.
Of the same opinion is Muharrem Nitaj from this party.
Nitaj, in a proposal for Koha.net, has said the AAK's victory is verifiable, while he says the odds are great for this party to win even Istog, whose candidate is Ghani Dresaj.
I think the AAK has really been the winner of these elections. Its victory, now verifiable, in seven municipalities and the likelihood that it will win another municipality, ranks AAK at the top of the political pyramid in the country”, Nitaj said.
He also said that even though Istog is the narrow result, it is possible that they win.
I don't want to judge you. I don't want to get on the people's list that for these two months, despite the results, they've only known how to talk about winning. What I can say is that the result in Istog is narrow, and it is quite possible that the AAK will win this municipality”, he added.
Asked what influenced this party to be the winner of these local elections and whether the fact that party leader Ramush Haradinaj is at the helm of the government has not denied the latter, but has said he has not been the main factor.
Nitaj has said the AAK has been the only party in Kosovo that has been working continuously and not just during the campaign.
There are many factors that have influenced the AAK's victory. For more than two years now, this party has worked hard on the ground. You may find it strange, but the AAK has been the most structured party in Kosovo. Elections are not won in just two months of campaigning, and other parties have applied this model, of course with certain exceptions. I believe this has been the main factor, but not excluding even party chairman Ramush Haradinaj's political consortium. The main factor has been the work that has been done consistently with the electorate and AAK membership”, Nitaj said.
Muharrem Nitaj is the deputy who will be added to the Kosovo Assembly by this party after Agim Aliu's The PDK, which was in the PAN coalition, won Ferizaj.
That means AAK has been added to an MP with Nitay by becoming 10. PDK has one less, so 23.
As for Nitaj's post as deputy, we recall that he was appointed by Prime Minister Haradinaj as deputy minister of education, the post from which he will leave. Nitaj has confirmed for Koha.net that he will retain the MP post and that he is expected to make it public soon.
I will be an MP in the Kosovo Assembly. Of course, this will happen officially, shortly after the certificate of results and after Mr. Agim Aliu, who has won Ferizaj Town. So, I can't give an answer when it's going to happen exactly because it's up to the certificate of election results”, he said.
We remember once again the AAK candidates who won the post after local elections.
