Civil Emergency General Director Shemsie Premci, drawing a picture of the bad weather situation, has declared that average rainfall is currently dropping in the country, but they are expected to intensify in the coming days and cause problems mainly in the south.
“Local and foreign meteorological services have provided detailed information on the expected situation, mainly for the south-western area. Following tonight and December 1st, there will be over 110 mm of rainfall from 35mm in the past 24 hours”, Premci declared.
Speaking of “report TV”, the senior official has warned that, therefore, there will be flow of the country's rivers, from which Semani and Vjosa are expected to get the biggest.
Underlining that Saturday's Friday and the dawn of Saturday will be problematic for the southeastern part, Premci has stressed that, Civil Emergency headquarters in the districts have been put on alert with all operational structures, taking all precautions.

While ensuring that canal systems will be cleared, the EC chief has said further that the most endangered cities will be Vlora, Fieri, Gjirokastra and Korca.
Among other things, Premci has estimated that this rainy season finds Albania better prepared in the face of rainfall, thanks to investments, according to him, serious government for maintaining agricultural land.
