The harmonised consumer price index in Kosovo has increased by 0.9% year-on-year, the national statistical agency said on Friday.
The Kosovo Statistics Agency has said that the prices of food and non-alcolic beverages, which have the largest weight of 37.6% in the Kosovo consumer basket, increased by 2.3% this year compared to the same time last year.
Prices in the transport sector, which have the second largest weight of 14.4%, remained unchanged, compared to last year.
Kosovo consumer prices have risen by 0.2% this month, compared to last month, Insander reports.
Even last year, in 2016, prices in Kosovo had suffered increases compared to the prices of 2015.
