President Hashim Thaci has hosted the Minister of State for the Armed Forces of Great Britain, Mark Lancaster.
President Thaci has thanked British Minister Mark Lancaster for the continued co-operation and support of Great Britain for recognising Kosovo and membership in international organisations.
We highly appreciate the continued support of Great Britain for Kosovo. Without your help and other friendly states, Kosovo would fail to strengthen its international subjectivity”, President Thaci said.
According to a Community Presidency, with Great Britain's Minister of State for Armed Forces Mark Lancester, President Thaci has also talked about the Kosovo Security Force and its process of transforming into the Kosovo Armed Forces.
While British Minister Mark Lancester, who had previously served as a KFOR soldier in Kosovo, expressed his impression on positive developments and changes in Kosovo.
Kosovo has done a very good job of integrating communities, and the Kosovo Security Force has achieved high standards”, the minister Lancster has said.
Speaking of political developments in the Western Balkans, Minister Lancester stressed that Great Britain supports the continuation of Kosovo's dialogue with Serbia in Brussels, relieved by the European Union.
