Bosnia and Herzegovina Chairman-in-chief Bakir Izetbegovic has said that in terms of him personally, Kosovo has had to be recognised, but this is being blocked by his colleagues in Headship. Izetbegovic has said he is also committed to resolving technical issues such as free movement, but Bosnian Serb politicians are blocking all of this.
Izetbegovic has said that for recognition of Kosovo it is decided by consensus, hinting that such a thing is difficult to happen.
“For recognition of Kosovo needs consensus at the level of B and H. I am the one who has sought to solve technical problems, human communication, Bosnia and Herzegovina suffers because there are problems of communication of goods and people with Kosovo. I'm a generator of this that makes it happen. You can imagine who that is. These are Serbian politicians in Bosnia and Herzegovina who are often more regid than Serbian politicians. Without the trinity of B and H, you cannot make decisions in international reports. As far as I'm concerned, Kosovo has had to be accepted. Now our colleagues will be angry, while our efforts for this not to happen have brought problems within BiH, and have not helped Kosovo”, Izetbegovic said in an interview for Deutsche Welle
