US Deputy Assistant Secretary Briyan Hoyt Yee has said dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia should continue.
He has advised the two countries to continue to move faster than they are now, but according to him are Kosovo and Serbia deciding.
“has launched an internal dialogue in Serbia, but dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia should also develop sooner than it is now. This is just advice, as once again the two states place”, Yee said.
The senior American official was asked by an American Voice reporter for his statement that “Serbia should not sit in two seats”.
He clarified the situation by saying it was his advice, not the ultimatum.
My <x0nd) position was for Serbia to move as quickly as possible towards the EU. It was no ultimatum, no warning. The topic was how the Serbian state should move towards the European Union, and I gave it some advice”, Hoyt Yee said.
He ultimately stressed that America will remain Serbia's partner.
