No one can download me, I can go alone, what I'm thinking about. I will probably no longer run for chairman of the party”, Dacic declared to Kurir newspaper, broadcasting newspapers.net.
Commenting on earlier claims by this newspaper on how current Socialist deputy leader Branko Ruzic wants to dismiss and take his position in the SPS, Dacic has warned of the possibility that the party congress, in which the party leadership and its organs are elected, will be held earlier than it has been warned.
“E I have founded the party from ashes after October 5th, 2000, when the criminal regime, Slobodan Milosevic, has fallen... For everything I am always guilty, even in the party and in the coalition, and it's time to end this. The time has come to say enough!”, Dacic, whose party is partner of the former prime minister's Serbian Progressive Party coalition and now Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuci.
Dacicevic was president of the new Belgrade Socialists in 1990 and spokesman for the Serbian Socialist Party (SPS) from 1992 to 2000, as leader of the SPS City Council and also deputy leader of the Socialists from 2000 to 2003. He was Serbia's prime minister from 2012 to 2014.
