Germany continues to sell weapons to Saudi Arabia and Egypt for hundreds of millions of euros

The German Ministry of Economic Affairs uncovered numbers after an MP from an opposition leftist party, Stefan Liebich, requested information, according to the German daily “Süddeutsche Zeitung”
Egypt alone paid about 300m euros, making it the number one export destination for German weapons, reports “Deutsche Welle”, Periscopi broadcast.
Saudi Arabia has delivered about 150m euros. By comparison, Riyadh imported German weapons for 41m euros in the third quarter of 2016.
