Within what's left of a hotel facility in the Kachanik Fortress lives 62-year-old Shefket Murati with his wife and son.
He laments that when the roof of what he calls home falls, he releases most of the water.
Whenever it rains more it falls inside than outside, it needs to be rescinded. It takes every 2-3 months to change the docks. I'm saying it's a disaster. I know how I lived here. But now what I've got to do is I don't have a choice”, says Murati for KALLXO.com.
The windows of the facility where this family lives do not close, while the ceiling is outdated, as the object inside the fortress was built in the 1960s-70s century XX.
Shfket Murati says people shouldn't live in an object like this.
It's a disaster for me, share for shat, share for what shower, disaster is for me. It's not even about animals, and it's left here for people, and you see it yourself, but what makes the poor intestines look like you're going to have to face it two times -- 18x1...
The Cachanik fortress, an object of the XVIth century, has been left standing only in the western and northern part.
Within the castle courtyard at the time, there were houses of 40 to 50 soldiers, and even today Shfeket Murati says he is trying to preserve this facility.
The skulls are not damaged to get on, but they are damaged with horses. The people in Kacanic would take the horses and take them out here with a flat pasture. I've warned you two-three times, I've told the police, but I've been telling them nothing, says Murati.
He left work two years ago from the cement factory, while along with other family members survive at 150 euros a month.
Murati shows that no one has visited him to see where he lives, but suggests that Kachanic Chairman Besim Ilazi has promised him a solution to the residential issue.
Representatives of the Kacanik municipality say they have known the case of Shefket Murat, while showing that he lives in the castle without the municipality's consent.
