Republika Srpska's president in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milorad Dodik, has indicated that the latter will not recognise Kosovo's independence.
That response came after the statement by Bosnia and Herzegovina leadership member Bakir Izetbegovic, who said they may recognise Kosovo soon.
Dodik claims that recognition of Kosovo, decided by Republika Srpska, and not by statements from a “failed, as if Bakir Izetbegovich”.
Kosovo will not be recognised by Bosnia and especially not if Izetbegovic says, as it depends on Republika Srpska”, Dodik told Pink, broadcast the news.net.
I can say that the recognition of Kosovo depends more on me than on Izetbegovic. He is a failed politician who holds the same topics as his father, who preceded a war in the region without any real basis”, Dodik said.
He stressed many times that Bosnian Serbs oppose this decision, which will never happen.
“I think this cannot be achieved. If Bosnia recognises Kosovo depends on Serbs, who oppose recognition”, Milorad Dodik stressed.
“For recognition of Kosovo needs consensus at the level of B and H. I am the one who has sought to solve technical problems, human communication, Bosnia and Herzegovina suffers because there are problems of communication of goods and people with Kosovo. I'm a generator of this that makes it happen, for this to happen”, Bakir Izetbegovic had said earlier.
