Behgjet Pacolli, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo, is standing in the United States of America where today he spoke at the Atlantic Council's conference on the “theme is the storm coming? Strengthening the future of the Balkans in the period of uncertainty”. He has also had a handshake with his Serbian counterpart, Ivica Dacic, in Washington.
The head of Kosovo diplomacy at this meeting has estimated that it is necessary to reduce bureaucracy, strengthen private entrepreneurship and bring global players to the region.
Pacolli has declared that it is necessary to break down monopolies, stressing that Serbia has monopolies in air communications, agriculture and other spheres.
According to him, the largest presence of American companies in the region is necessary.
Kosovo is a new state, we are open to private partnerships as well as free trade zones. Daciq, let's call northern Mitrovica a free trade zone. Because with job creation alone, we can reduce policy impact”, Pacolli said among other things.
