Great Britain spends 100 million pounds on dealing with Russian propaganda

Great Britain plans to spend $100m for five years in opposition to what it calls a Russian “dezination campaign”, Prime Minister Theresa May said at the Eastern Partnership Summit, where she plans to fully outline her strategy against Russia. Delegations from EU member states [...]
Delegations from EU member states and representatives of six Eastern European countries are scheduled to gather at the 5th Eastern Partnership Summit (EPA) in Brussels on Friday.
Britain, which is leaving the EU in March 2019, is drawing up its plan for Eastern Europe a vision that is strongly focused on opposing Russian influence in the region, reports “RT” Transmission Periscope.
While the summit is concerned about combating corruption and promoting economic growth in Georgia, Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus, Azerbaijan and Armenia, May aims at “welcoming unified approach to tackle threats and efforts to destabilise other foreign powers such as Russia”, it is said in a statement.
In addition to reaffirming United Kingdom support in the region, London plans to pledge 50 million pounds to finance “reform and security” in the respective partner countries.
The government of Great Britain is also willing to spend 100 million pounds over five years on “countering dezinforms” on what it called “Eastern neighborhood”
Although the details of May's plans to oppose Russia in the republics of the former Soviet Union have not been made public, London seems very motivated to lead the anti-Russian Crusade in Europe, despite Brex.
“The Great Britain may leave the EU, but we are not leaving Europe and we are unconditionally committed to preserving Europe's security”, May said. “We also need to be open to actions of hostile states such as Russia that threaten this potential and try to remove collective force”.
May's personal campaign against Moscow seems to be gaining momentum. Just last week, the British prime minister called Russia the biggest threat to European democracy and security. Russia “is threatening the international order in which we all depend”, she claimed./Periscopi/
