LDK candidate for Pristina chairman Arben Abrashi has introduced his plan to investments in various projects for the mandate he intends.
“We aim in the next four years in public and private investments to invest 1.2 billion euros, knowing their source and knowing where they are going”, Abrashi said, Klan Kosova reports.
“Projects that were supposed to be completed despite having been budgeted are, completion of B Street, then starting A Street, which has a budgetary but affordable”.
Abrashi has counted other projects aimed at ending in the four-year term.
“Other than them, which opens the direction to the construction of new Pristina, aims to finish the inner ring and, as I said earlier, create 6 thousand parking lots. Pristina hospital is the next project. Ours is to build a hospital that totals up to 10m euros. Then seven new schools should be built, as well as nine public nursery”.
Two other projects that the municipal budget is handling sewage. This project totals 46m-50m euros, the next project we intend to start, which opens perspective to the municipality, is the start of building the external ring”.
He has said there is a great cost to the outside ring project, but it must be built.
“then comes the completion of the water project, which has not been completed and that only 4-5m euros have been allocated”.
Not all parts in Pristina have 24 hours. There's gotta be a pump substation built at Emshire, it's got to be booked in Vetrnik. Another major project is the creation of the economic zone at the Trima Framework and Brnica”.
Abrashi has said parking lots will be made with public but private investments.
“They amount to investment value of 16-20m euros. The reasons for the hospital are futile. There are municipalities that used legal rights and built the hospital. There are legal and budgetary opportunities”, he added.
