Erdogan will be a guest of President Vucic and official talks start from today, reports Serbian medium “Blic”, Periscopi broadcast.
After the ceremonial reception to be organised at the Palace of Serbia, the two presidents will have eight-hour talks, followed by the two delegation meetings and the signing of several agreements between Serbia and Turkey.
As announced by the Serbian president's cabinet, the two presidents will address the media at a joint press conference and then participate in the closure of the Serbia-Turkey Business Forum, where they will address participants and participate in the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding.
Tomorrow, October 11th, he will visit Novi Pazar, where he will talk to the mayors of Novi Pazar, Raska, Kraljevva, Sjenica, Tutini, Prijepolje, Nova Varos, Priboj.
As part of the visit, the signing ceremony of the protocol between the city of Novi Pazar and Raska municipality with the Turkish Agency for Co-operation and Co-ordination will be held, and after that, presidents Vujic and Erdogan will walk in Novi Pazar and talk with citizens.
Representatives and owners of large Turkish companies from various business areas -- from construction, tourism, agriculture in the food industry and the metal sector -- will arrive in Serbia on October 10th and 11th.
President Vucic stressed that Erdogan's visit would be a confirmation of the great friendship between the two nations, expressing gratitude to Turkish companies that invested in the most underdeveloped countries in Serbia.
Our country has a genuine friendship with the Turkish people, and today we have the chance to start a new process in our relations”, President Vukic said.
President Erdogan stressed that relations between Serbia and Turkey are very important for Balkan peace and stability.
Serbia is a key country in the Balkans to maintain peace and stability and therefore we have always supported your European path”, the Turkish president said.
