Internationals have also denied any “patari” for the Special Court, Koha Ditore writes today.
A day earlier, at a table organised by civil society with the “public perception of the Kosovo Special Court: risks and opportunities”, the head of state has said he had decided to lead an unfair process towards Kosovo and that he was deceived by internationals who, according to him, had given promises in exchange for the Special.
Among the promises, he had listed: the possibility of applying for quick membership to the Council of Europe, visa liberalisation, massive support for membership in U NESTO, the establishment of Armed Forces and new recognitions. None of these have been fulfilled so far, even as the Special has been established for more than two years.
