A truck crashed into a carriage Sunday morning in Michigan state, reports the BBC.
Michigan police officials reported that the truck was traveling to the town of Sheridan when it crashed the cart, which carried nine children.
The three children killed were a seven-year-old girl, a nine-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy. All six injured residents were transported to hospitals in the area in critical condition of life.
The truck driver was not injured, and witnesses say he had provided first aid to the wounded after the crash.
