Out of 131 candidates that have applied in Pristina University's recent competition for promotion in titles, assistant professor, associate professor and regular professor 74 do not meet the minimum criteria required by the University of Pristina's Statuti.
The Organisation for Quality Growth in Education (ORCA), in “, has given this consisting of the process of selecting academic staff from the 3/671 2016-2017 competition at the University of Pristina published on Monday”, Koha Ditore writes today.
Of these 131 candidates 49 have applied for the title professor-in-chief, 37 for the title associate professor and 45 for the title regular professor.
“57 have been assessed positively by achieving the fulfillment of the minimum criteria of one, three or five works, respectively, for each academic title. For each of the 74 candidates O RCA has sent detailed reports about the state of their scientific publications to the UP Senate. Of the 74 candidates named inappropriate for elections in the current title by ORCA and reported in the Senate, 70 of them have not been selected”, O points out RICA
