Kosovo police have denied information about the raid on MP Albin Kurti's house, against which the Pristina Court had issued a warrant for forced behaviour at the session.
Contacted by KALLXO.com, Kosovo Police spokeswoman for the Pristina region Flora Ahmeti, confirmed that Kurti has not been encountered.
We've had to complete the ordinance for Kurti's forced behavior. They looked for it, but they couldn't find it. Meanwhile, the report arrived at the Court at 9:50”, Ahmeti said.
The spokeswoman said there was no raid, but only one person has gone and asked for it, but it has not been faced with the person for whom they have been ordered by the Court.
At the previous session, the chairman of the court, Becir Kalundra, issued a warrant for MP Albin Kurti's forced behaviour, but police did not bring him to today's session.
Judge Kaluldra told KALLXO.com that news from police that defendant Albin Kurti was not in the house took him home after the session ended.
Until 9:50 p.m., we have not received answers from the Kosovo Police regarding Kurti's behaviour in session”, Kaluldra said.
During today's hearing, the judge said they didn't accept any information from the South Police Station.
So, we don't have any notice from the South Police Station whether they acted or not and if they didn't act”, Kaluldra said during the session, which was again postponed in the absence of indictees Kurti and Donika Cadaj-Bujupi.
As for the forced behaviour of Cadaj-Bujupi, for which also at the last session Judge Kaluldra had issued the ordinance for forced behaviour, he said that “has no record”.
Ensuring the presence of the accused is a problem which is constantly prolonging this judicial procedure against the four deputies of the Kosovo Parliament from the ranks of the Vetevendosje Movement.
Today's session was due to begin at 9: 00 p.m., but it started half an hour late, since only Albulen Hadziu and Faton Topalli came to the previous sessions.
In addition to the absence of the Cadaj-Buypathate Kurt, MP Flora Brovina, who was also issued an ordinance for forced behaviour, was missing at the previous session.
Brovina was present during today's session.
According to the indictment, Albin Kurti, Donika Cadaj-Bujupi, Faton Topalli's Albula Haxhiu and Faton Topalli are accused of using a dangerous weapon or tool and obstructing the official person in carrying out his official duties.
