Several workers who left their jobs at the oil derivative distribution company Al Petrol have been taking wages for the time they had worked on for several months.
Valmira Osmani and Tefta Dravishall worked on the company for more than five years, KTV reports.
Valmira Osmani decided to quit working in March this year, despite still having a valid contract. The management, according to her, promised her that after 15 days she would get her remaining debt wages, but it's been months and she never took the money.
In their decision to leave the company, it has even been said that the reason for the dismissal has been made for health causes, which is opposed by Valmira.
However, Tefta Dravicol says that because of his lack of time pay, he has often had to go into debt to get to work, no matter what the family should do.
Among those who, according to the workers, are about 20, is Ronor Gashi.
Workers are already preparing the documents to complain in competent institutions, as they have not done so far because of the hope that wages would be released.
On Friday when KTV contacted the media management company at Al Petrol, officials of the latter invited workers to the meeting, promising that within two days they would receive all the money they owe. Despite expectations, however, the workers did not receive the money either on Monday. KTV has requested a clarification from the company why salaries are being delayed, but its officials have chosen not to respond.
