Italian authorities have provided measures of condemnation for a gang, which was made up of 14 Albanian and Italian members. Within the framework of the operation “Ocean”, the arrest of members of the organisation dealing with distribution of narcotics.

Arrests and punishment measures: Joseph, Merro, 52-year-old from Cavallino, was sentenced to 9 years and 8 months in prison. Alessandro Scalicz, 32, from Salento, was sentenced to 8 years in prison. Tommaso Danish, 40 (but resident in Turin) was sentenced to 7 years in prison. Alessandro Qurta, 33-year-old by Copertino, was sentenced to 6 years and 8 months in prison, Cristian Giannone, 41-year-old by Cavalino, was sentenced for 9 months (principle). Davide Giovine, 38-year-old from State, was sentenced to 6 years and 10 months. Gianluca Lore, 33 years from Brindisi, 7 years and 8 months. Christian Montanaro, 29, was sentenced to six years and eight months. Marenglen Halka, 35, from Fier, 14 years and 4 months in prison. Marius Halka, 32, from Fier was sentenced to 8 years and 4 months.

Hendri Kapllani, 29, of Vlora, was sentenced to 7 years and 10 months. Victor Shall, 32, of Fier, was sentenced to six years in prison. Ermal Resulaj, 36-year-old Albanian, living in Parabita, was sentenced to 5 years and 6 months. Ervin Gerbaj, 35-year-old Albanian (unlesser) was sentenced to 15 years and 8 months.
