Six municipalities in Macedonia to be run by women

In Macedonia's 80 municipalities in this recent local elections, 6 will be run by women.
In the first round of local elections, which were held on October 15th, Natasa Petrovska in the Monastery and Milkie Halimi municipality of Harachina won the elections, receiving over 50 per cent of the vote since this round. Both women come from LSDM ranks.
And in the second round, which was held yesterday, the list was enriched by four other women.
They are DUI Teuta Arifi in Tetovo, Sonja Stanmenkova in Makedonska Kamenica, Jacquesina Jovanovska in Old Nagoricani, while in Mogila she won Jamsina Gulevska, and the last three come from LSDM ranks.
