Millions of parties in Kosovo do not undergo auditing

Since 2013 to 2016, more than 13m euros have been earmarked for political parties since then.
Meanwhile, the Kosovo Assembly has committed a company that will make financial auditing of parties, but recognition of political issues and representatives of organisations say it will be very difficult to audit after such a long time.
On the other hand, political parties say they have been transparent all the time.
The nongovernmental organisation “Democracy Plus” has published a graph along with the 13m euros distributed to political parties from 2013 to 2016.
Yusuf Zenay, from “Democracy Plus”, says these figures were taken from the money the CEC has distributed each year to political parties, but which, he says, has never been audited. /zeri/
