Medical Experts Were Three Months Without Pay

Medical specialists have not received their salaries from the Health Ministry for three months, while specialists have been without salaries for four months, respectively, for 7 months. The ministry delays in salary prosecution reason with the lack of timely state budget.

V. S. In August of this year, it has signed contracts with the Ministry of Health to hire as a specialist doctor under the University Clinical Centre of Kosovo (QKUK), but it has not received a salary from this state institution for three months.

Like her and dozens of other specialists are waiting for salaries, although many of them travel from different centers in the country, the costs that are hard to cover until they're getting paid for their work, writes “Voice”.

The Health Ministry had announced competitions for the admission of 220 medical specialists, who ruled after the protests and pressure of whitemen who carried out specialisation and sought employment in public institutions.

Besides experts, the Ministry of Health has not even paid medical specialists.

The performance specialists, who years earlier had put former Prime Minister Ferid Agani's decisions on their salary list, were four months without pay, since June of this year they have not been paid for their commitments, while specialists coming from private health institutions for 7 months have not received salaries from the state, although contracts with the ministry signed in March of this year.
