Ramadani has also spoken of the first victim from the measles disease.
“Today a child from Fushe Kosova has lost his life, that child came from a family where everyone was touched by measles, that child has received maximum help from doctors, but that in accession has been in serious condition, as well as two children from this family are in serious condition, the child was unvaccinated, and ill fed”, Ramadan said.
Ramadani said that so far over 100 cases have been admitted to the Infectious Clinic affected by the measles epidemic, and 20 of them are being treated at this clinic.
“We have a measurable disease since June, and to this day the flow of the sick who are being admitted and treated in this clinic and the number is over 100 cases that are lying down and that are being treated, at the moment we are treating them 20 cases, other cases we have allowed to go home because they are in good health, while in these 20 cases some of them are in poor condition, two children and an adult person at the age of 37<1>, he said.
Ramadani cautioned that each citizen should be vaccinated, and students should not go to school until the situation is.
“The population's versus measles is mandatory, and at the moment, students' movements in schools should be stopped, until the epidemic passes, and whoever notices the first symptoms must urgently go to doctor”, Ramadan concluded.
The measles epidemic has taken on enormous proportions in Kosovo recently.
