Lunacek tells country Hashim Thaci of EU charges

Former European Parliament deputy Ulrike Lunacek has said the European Union does not recognise the new agreement on demarcation, while calling on President Hashim Thaci not to call the EU fraudulent, for an agreement it has signed on its own. It has called on the Kosovo Assembly deputees to vote for the demarcation agreement [...]
It has asked the deputees of Kosovo's Parliament to vote on the border demarcation agreement with Montenegro so that Kosovo citizens have the right to travel to EU countries without visas.
I would like to call on everyone now in the Kosovo Assembly to move forward and ratify the demarcation with Montenegro. I know the new prime minister has appointed a new commission, but now the ball has the Kosovo Assembly”.
You should use this opportunity because this door can shut you down. You have to do it now because it's about citizens' rights to move freely”.
“This is a condition for visa liberalisation and Kosovo has had clear borders with Albania and Macedonia, but not with Serbia and Montenegro”.
I was very honest with the President because he raised his voice, where he said the EU has set the deal in a trap. I told him that you, Mr. Thaci, were foreign affairs minister when you signed him, and I told him that this is not the way to move on. Kosovo has known since 2013, while blaming the EU, is in complete opposition, it has no right”.
“Ramush Haradinaj is now trying to find a way out, but in the EU we have the agreement that has been signed. Montenegro has already ratified”.
