” Lombardia and Venito require a different fiscal organisation, less bureaucracy, and these problems should be answered. Even Catalonia had to pay less than other regions of Spain, even though its indifference is guided by a strong cultural and linguistic identity”, the former Italian prime minister stressed.
“The current situation also came because of lack of politics, as it took a Spanish government to be able to dialogue as well as a Catalonian government able to respect the” laws, Renzi adds.
