Albania's ambassador to Kosovo, Kemal Minxhozi, has said that we must do everything possible for Kosovo to achieve visa liberalisation on its own. Such a statement, Minxhozi, made in an interview on Radio Dukagjini, as he was commenting on President Hashim Thaqi's request that Albania equip Kosovo citizens with Albanian passports.
The “is true as a request, which has been articulated before, but this time was further articulated. Now it is a request of the president, to be seen, but just as Mr. Meta put it on track, we have to make sure Kosovo gets visa liberalisation itself”, Minxhozi said.
Ambassador Minxhozi next spoke of the meeting between the two Albanian governments, to be held on November 27th in the town of Korca.
To do things that have not been done well so far, there will be a major focus of the economy. I would gladly say that, as years of economic and trade exchange between Kosovo and Albania, there is an increase compared to last year. The year 2016 has been the hardest year I'd say, while 2017 is a better year, there's a better story, and I hope it's going to be a very powerful springboard to get more exchange in 2018<18x1>, Minxhozi noted.
Albania's President Ilir Meta, during his two-day visit to Kosovo, will have meetings with top Kosovo state leaders, some of the political parties, and would also visit the memorial complex “Adem Jashar” in Prekaz and “Ibrahim Rugova” in Pristina.
