The Bangladesh Health Ministry, supported by the World Health Organization, U n NICEF and other NGOs distributed a vaccine for 88,000 Muslims Roingya on Tuesday in a broad campaign aimed at vaccinating 650,000 people over the next three weeks, reports “Al Jazeera”, the Periscope broadcast.
This is the second largest oral vaccine campaign in the world, following another Haiti case last year. 900,000 doses of vaccines will be involved in this emergency situation.
Although no cholera case has been officially registered, the vaccine campaign is a precautionary measure to prevent a complete explosion.
