Haradinaj does not think as Thaci does, says there are hopes for visa liberalisation

Until President Thaci during his meeting with Albania's president, Ilir Meta has asked Kosovo citizens to be equipped with Albanian passports, as it remains as the only hope for Kosovo citizens, as he sees no prospects on the road for visa liberalisation because demarcation is set as necessary condition for liberalising visas.

Haradinaj said demarcation of the border with Montenegro is the question of the Kosovo Assembly, but that the possibility of liberalisation is not distant.

I think the axis for liberalisation is order and law, fighting corruption at high levels, then other crimes, types of crime. I can tell you that we're intense on this subject, so I don't want to brag about something I'm in charge of. But today the first two hours of the day, from 8 to 10, all the major, local and international actors have worked on these topics, I've been present myself. I think the axis is this, then there is another important element is resolving the border issue with Montenegro. As you're aware I'm not wasting time on this subject, in what is government capacity. Some decisions are made by parliament by two-thirds, and that is not my capacity and I can't do it, but what we have within the government, we are proceeding with this. I don't think we are without hope in visa liberalisation, my conviction is we have hope, it's not the possibility of liberalisation“, Hardinaj said.

The prime minister has indicated that he too is equipped with Albanian passport, but has not yet received it as a document, even says all those citizens who want can be equipped.

Taking citizenship is a matter of everyone's will for citizens. If that's one reason I can move freely, I'm not against it. I've actually taken it for myself, I don't have an app, but while I was last vacation, Albanian President Nishani gave it to me. I haven't received a document yet, but I am allowed this”, Haradinaj said.
