Valentina Haliti has spoken on behalf of these protesters and has called on institutions not to forget veterans.
She said veterans were killing themselves from poverty.
We don't have any money in protest, not two euros in pockets. I want to call on government officials who stay stuck and call on their consciences. We are real veterans and have no connection with political parties”, Haliti has said.
It has accused Veterans' Organisation Chairman Hysni Gucatin of selling veterans' certificates of 3 thousand euros.
They have expressed concern that they are free of payment now for 3 months, and their social situation is serious.
We live in a difficult situation, we're entering the 3rd month without pensions, closing the veterans' definition list. The law became a government instrument, or shame, when soldiers commit suicide. You're ashamed to have bought the status of the veteran. Hysni Gucati has sold certificates of veteran 3 thousand euros”, she said.
