Family advancements at the UP Medical Faculty

The entire Hysenia family is employed at Pristina University.

The Daka family was similar until one year ago when Hyshua retired.

The Word newspaper, in a month-long research, has found that there are dozens of professors who even employ their children as assistant at Pristina University, respectively.

Some even have more than one child in such positions.

It's Professor Agim Vela, now retired, who employs both children, Driton and Zana Vela. Professor Adem Limani also has employees as his assistant two children, Rina and Awakening.

Parent-child employment doesn't end here. Assistant Dafina Bytyqi is the daughter of Chen Bytyqi, who is a professor at this faculty.

Just like Nora Berisha, who is the daughter of Merita Kocija-Berisha, a regular professor of medicine.

That all of these have family ties, the Word newspaper has confirmed from its sources within the Faculty of Medicine. Although most of these assistants do not find the names on the official page of this faculty (www.uni-pr.edu), they continue to exercise assistant position.

Most of these professors have been on the evaluation commissions for accepting assistants.

However, they have flatly denied having influenced the employment of family members, saying that the recession is their job.
