Trump will not be a guest of the queen, as was previously predicted, reports the Independent”, the Periscope broadcast.
Theresa May's offer of a state visit to the first president of the mandate was met with the threat of mass protests by opponents.
A state visit was also rejected by London Mayor Sadiq Khan, who said that “was not sure it was appropriate for our government to open the red carpet for Trump pursuen”.
Hundreds of thousands of people had signed a petition against his visit.
A spokesman for the American Embassy said: “There are actually no plans for a work visit”./Periscopi/
