This is Bekim Yasar: I refused to be a candidate PDK, that's why I joined the race

Independent candidate for head of Sqaheraj Bekim Jashar, in an interview for KosovoPress, points out the reasons why he entered the race.

Jashar said that the race for the first of Scythews went to no one's rage, but to build this place as his father, Hamez Jashar and his uncle, Commander Adam Jashar and all the other martyrs.

Jashar calls it the most difficult decision for him and his family, not for what challenges await him, but given which family he comes from and whether he can complete the mandate with honor and white pages.

But now that he has launched the campaign, Jashari says he is seeing the enthusiasm of Scipalish citizens for his candidacy, a fact that is giving him the will and the right in his decision.

It has not been easy at all, but it has been one of the most difficult decisions for me and my family mentally and spiritually, not because of the fear of responsibilities or challenges ahead of us, but because of that feeling knowing who you are, whose family you are, will you be able to get out by the end of your tense mandate and white pages? This has been the difficulty of decision-making, but the need has been seen, not that it has not been worked out in this country, has worked hard, with its goods and shortcomings. So I believe that even those who wanted it were right, but I believe that seeing the citizens I've been out on the field so far these days, their desire and their will, their enthusiasm with my candidacy, gives me the will that I've had that I've been right and that I've made the right decision of”, Jashar said.

The bid to enter as a candidate in the race for Skyright chairman, Bekim Jashari, says it had since 2007, but that it has not been in their colourful interest of the political Jashar family because they consider they are all without party differences. Therefore, the request of the citizens has only been answered as an independent candidate to enter the race for the head of Scytheright.

Our family will say, but even bliss in this case will never be painted in political color, because we have been and will all remain, of the people. All indiscreet means that it was a request to color, in political color, and in 2007 to enter this race, but it wasn't our interest, so I've only accepted the condition to enter this race only as an independent candidate”, says Jashar.

According to him, if it was patriotism yesterday to catch a soldier's rifle KLA and to free this country, today it is twice patriotism to build this country in a straight and clean manner.

Hamez Yasar's son's candidacy was seen as a blow to The PDK, while running in the raid on this party, but Bekim Jashari points out that his candidacy came only as a demand of citizens, not against anyone. He even says there has been a PDK request to be their candidate since 2007, but also for these elections, but he has declined.

That his running is not against The PDK, but only for Skywright citizens, Jashari says after his candidacy he had contact with PDK leader Kadri Wessel, and also with current chairman Sami Lushtaku, who was in his office to congratulate his candidacy several days ago because he has friends inherited from his father and uncle.

I've had contact with Wessel before. With MP Hadziu and former MP Nuredin Lushtaku now accompanying me on this journey, along with Fadil Kodra and Zenun Kodra. I had contact with Sami Lushtaku, and I have friends of mine who inherited them since yesterday my father and uncle, who are also friends of Drenica and Kosovo. Even if someone has that feeling that Bekim has been seen standing with Bekim Hagi, or why he's accompanying Nuredin Lushtaku, or why he's stuck with Sami Lushtaku, regardless of who he is, Bekim stands as an individual who thinks he's on the national line in okay”, Jashar said.

In this interview, independent candidate Bekim Jashari also spoke of his governing platform, which said he is being fully drafted in the demands of citizens from the campaigns he is making.

“The governing platform I'm still compiled on the basis of demands coming out on the field. But it will be based on responsibility, transparency and accountability. When I tell them transparency and accountability, I tell them with full consciousness, in all the sense of the word, being honest, pure just as a man desires his own house. The main pillars will be education, health, economic development, never forgetting culture, youth and sports. As soon as we can do it, it remains to be seen tomorrow, but one step if we shut it down, we're going to take it for a clean one, he stressed.

Transparency and accountability, according to Jashar, are the first two demands of citizens, according to whom they have so far been missing. Jashar insists that even though he has worked hard in Skenderaj, the jobs that have been done have not been done as they were before. According to him, there is still much to be done for road infrastructure, sewers, drinking water, unemployment, and many other areas.

Jashar even says that from his appearance in the countryside, he is seeing that there are so many needs that the impression that nothing has been worked on. However, he estimates that PDK's several-year rule has managed to meet only 30 per cent of citizens' demands.

Jashar adds that from the needs of citizens to his four-year term, even if he had the entire country's budget, it would be difficult to meet, but that he would try to the maximum to improve conditions for his citizens. He adds he has used politics as the only means to work and build his country.

Since Jashar is an independent candidate, in the municipal assembly he will rule with other party assemblyists, primarily of the PDK, but who does not have it with even the small one, doubt that he will have the support of the assembly.

In obedience to his victory on October 22nd, Jashari hopes to complete his mandate without putting any black points on himself or his family.

Until, after this mandate, he says not in political color, but he will be willing to contribute where the citizen demands it.

The independent candidate for the head of Scytheright has extended an invitation to all citizens of the Sculered municipality on October 22nd to go to the elections and exploit their constitutional right and let them vote they're willing to think it's the best and I can best represent them.
