The June 11th elections have changed the position of political forces in Kosovo. In almost all municipalities, the political parties' report has undergone change.

The Democratic Party of Kosovo is no longer the first Kosovo policy, nor is Vetevendosje the third. The two parties that hold the fiercest political battles have changed countries after June 11th. Vetevendosje now has 32 deputies in the Kosovo Assembly, as the first party in the country.

After June 11th, this report has changed to Kacanik, in the municipality where the PDK has been government since the post-war. But this successor will try to stop Vetevendosje with its candidate for chairman, Basri Kodra, in the October 22nd local elections.

Kodra is known as one of the first activists of the Vetevendosje Movement, founder of the VV branch in Kacanik and the early critic of the PDK general government, especially the PDK government in Kacanik, which is best characterised in opinion with Jabir Zhark's figure, the former head of Kacanik, who is still on the run after being convicted in 2011 of obligation, extortion, threat and non-licitation.

Basri Kodra shows how his political engagement as part of the VV has felt the consequences in the personal and professional realm.

He was an educator at the “high school. Skenderbeu” originally, while later he was in professional high school in this municipality, to the exception, as he says, for reasons and political motives by PDK officials.

The history of my bad reports with the Directorate of Education, in general, while with the director, Azem Guri, in particular, is quite early, and starts immediately after the work starts at Gjimnazin éSkenderbeu in Kacanik as professor of physics. As a mechanical engineer, each year I applied to go to professional high school but I wasn't allowed even though there were many teachers at the Professionals who didn't have enough qualifications within the framework of my professional profile. For this reason I had made many complaints year after year, even some writing at the time at various internet forums where I criticized power in general, particularly the conduct of the head of the Education Directorate. After 2005, when I also began political activity in Vetevendosje, I began writing in newspapers on mainly national issues, but I sometimes touched local issues. Thus, on April 29, 2010, in the daily newspaper Yabir Jark, who not only manipulated students and school principals but also misused KLA war martyrs! This scripture was a reason for the then chairman to begin counting my days and keeping me in custody. He normally had tools everywhere ready to carry out his commands and desires. I had only been working in professional school for two years, where I had been admitted to a complaint I had made because of my refusal during the contest, which I accompanied even with a threat to burning diplomas publicly in front of the municipality door in front of the media”, Kodra relates.

Following the threat of burning a diploma in front of the municipality's doors, the education director at the time had agreed that Kodra would be transferred to professional high school as an educator, but the pressure on him had not been stopped through the school principal until his expulsion.

The “So in August 2010, from 16 to 31, as usual, educators start to appear at work because at this time they complete certain administrative work for the previous year and start preparing for the following year. Since the school was under inside repair, I had not paid any attention to the fact that every time I went to school, I would sign it on an ID list and at the end of the meeting at 31.08.2010, the director, Bafty Locke, who had received political order from the director of the faithful. DA, Azem Guri, told educators that all those who were missing during August (now had not developed an hour of teaching), and he mentioned several names, including my name, to appear in the DA at 1:30 the same day! I'm labeling this behavior as unusual and an attempt to tighten the grip of power over institutions, because on issues of absence there is no need for information with the DA director, I refused to go, while I wrote him a letter. On the same day, about 4: 00 p.m., the director, Buffy Locke, calls me and threatens that if I didn't go to DA the next day (September 1) I wouldn't be able to start school! This was an unprecedented and highly arbitrary case of human rights violations, which culminated the next day when on September 1, 8: 30 a.m., I was not allowed to start teaching without any written decision! So I was expelled from school, and on that day, the day 01,09,2010 in the afternoon, about 3:30 p.m., my decision was brought home for a month with a reason called two points: 'cause of unreasonable absences and contempt of duty, declaring that it did not respond to the invitations of the Directorate of Public Education. On the same day, September one, the school principal, Bafti Locku, had written a report specifically for me on political orders, presenting my immune messages in writing, but not to mention the immunes of 11 other educators who had not signed the list for the same reasons, including today's director. DA, Enver Kamishi. In 16,09,2010, the so - called Disciplinary Commission, composed of Fadil Guri, chairman, Vedat Dema, member, and Hafet Ceka, a member, just two days after maintaining a so - called Hearing Sense, made a decision to cut off the relationship with reasoning:

Don't notice the workplace, nor excuse the lack of work.

Don't obey the wicked to the warden, as well.

Disregard the invitation from the Director of Education and Culture”, Kodra further says.

The hill has not stopped demanding justice, and today it is in the workplace as an educator at the same school as a consequence of the Supreme Court's decision, after five years of procrastinating proceedings in courts.

So then I filed a complaint in the DA which was never reviewed, then applied to the Independent Supervisor Council, which answered that the same one is not competent to deal with the case, and soon afterward I filed a lawsuit at the First Stair Court in Ferizaj, the branch in Kacanik. For the next three years, Jabir Jürr, the court did not consider the case at all, while as soon as Zharku's went out of justice and left the president's post, the court took my case and in 20,05.2013 invited me to the first session of the main examination, while after several hearings in 30,09,2013. The Constitutional Court declares a decision on my return to work. The case is then appealed by the municipality, and the Court of Appeals delays its examination for over two years, and to 27.01.2016 returns negative, granting justice to the Communists. The Supreme Court finally settles the case, which, in two and a half months, on April 16, 2016, settles the case by granting the Constitutional Court justice and turning me to work”, completes his confession of the Kodra case.

But Kodra has continued his political activity.

As the candidate for chairman of the Kacanik, the era of PDK government, he calls “undim”.

Maybe the right thing to do is use the word, the rulership, instead of the government. That's because, The PDK, power, has used it for extremely narrow and low purposes. First with aggressiveness, arrogance and threats have seized power; by using the voting process through the theft of votes, and thus distorting civic will (this has happened by 2010). So they've taken power with primitive methods. Then through it, personal, group, and party aspirations have been realized. They have also by power taken revenge on people who have had a personal resentment or had disagreements for even some more secular reason. They have simply misused power, which they continue to do today. Now, when the will of citizens cannot be easily changed through the deformation of the election process, even the change of power -- that is, the collapse of this party by power -- will not be that difficult. Citizens, increasingly and more quickly, are understanding the immense nature of these communities on one side as they become more and more clearly aware that our Vetevendosje movement! is today's only true and single solution which can remove Kacanik, as well as Kosovo, from the Batak of incongratulation not only economic but also cultural and comprehensive”, he says of Periscope.

The lack of economic development, the serious state of management of the educational system, and inadequate health services, according to him, are the three biggest problems of the Kachanic Community.

The problems that we've investigated in our municipality, such as top problems, are: lack of economic development, poor educational system management, and inadequate health services. In addition, there are other problems, such as drinking water and the environment. We have a very dangerous environment. Nature pollution everywhere. Accommodations for stone businesses. Illegal logging, which we have considered institutional theft! Lack of cultural and sports events. The total lack of urban organisation in the city and lack of planning even in rural areas. A general lack of transparency in public affairs. The overexplored lack of professionalism. Official democracy. Classic nepotism. And so on”, says Kodra.

He says that as VV candidate, he has numerous priorities over counter-Candids and expresses his willingness to sacrifice to improve the situation in his municipality.

And the advantage is also that we, as Movement activists, are not involved in politics or our public activities today, but we've been a long time, and we've never been in power, even though we've had this opportunity, but we haven't. We have refused to become part of these highly evil and primitive policies. So we're not people with dirty hands and bruises. We have good motives and right goals, we have human and patriotic intentions: we want to save our country from the taps that it's been taking for years, and that's why we're very determined. We are ready for sacrifice, and that is very important. Justice, honesty, good intentions, humanity, etc., make us more favoured against those who try to support themselves through their clientele, which has been greatly reduced because of the eventual collapse of political, cultural and social life in general”, he stressed. /Periscopi/
