The October 22nd elections have led to the run-off of the Democratic Party of Kosovo with Vetevendosje Movement in the municipality of Kacanik. In the second round, on November 19th Ilazi Ilazi Ilazi i PDK and VV Basri Kodra.

In a pronomation for “Index”, Kodra has said that the vote that was distributed to certain political subjects will now be entrusted to Vetevendosje to govern the municipality.
We'll win because we've requested support and we've first received it from the two biggest subjects behind us, the LDK and the AAK. We are continuing negotiations with them and civil society, as well as with people who are interested in change. We haven't reached an agreement yet but we're consulting. We're based on 60 percent of the vote that has been for change, against PDK. The vote has been distributed to 3-4 subjects of more”, he said.
The PDK government has described it as irresponsible and weak. According to him, this government has brought the municipality to degradation.
The past “governance has been characterised as weak, sluggish and irresponsible governance. We have degradation of the situation, especially in the field of education, as well as in infrastructure investments”, it has been expressed.
Otherwise, Kodra in the October 22nd elections had received 33,000 and 353 votes, until his counter-Candidate from the PDK, Besim Ilazi had received 6 thousand and 588 votes.
