Apostolova continues with statements: Your people know why demarcation is a condition for visas

“The demarcation is either yes or no, we can't help you. The demarcation must be completed. I don't want to get involved in the guilt game. This condition is accepted by you, ask your people, so why did they then accept this condition”, said Apostolova chief of the EU Office in Kosovo Natalia [...]
“The demarcation is either yes or no, we can't help you. The demarcation must be completed. I don't want to get involved in the guilt game. This condition is accepted by you, ask your people why they have accepted this condition then”, Apostolova said.
EU Office in Kosovo chief Natalia Apostolova said today that demarcation has been politicised.
After meeting with PDK parliamentary group chief and members of the Parliamentary Commissions from this party, EU Office chief Natalia Apostolova praised the criteria for visa liberalisation.
“The criteria for liberalisation are never political, because they are not made by EU foreign policies, but by technical services -- the Directorate for Best Neighbor”, Apostolova said.
To move Kosovo's citizens without visas, institutions must ratify the demarcation agreement with Montenegro and have results in fighting corruption and organised crime.
Apostolova further stated that no one has expected Kosovo to have so much problem with ratification of the demarcation agreement with Montenegro signed in Vienna in 2015.
Montenegro has ratified it so quickly and no one has expected you to have so many problems. This issue has been politicised and it is sad how it is politicised”, Apostolova said.
Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj in his first decision when he came to this post fired the Commission for Decenting the Border with Montenegro, while continuing to say that the border between the two states is in Chuckorr and Kule, which are not part of Kosovo on the agreement-defined line.
Prime Minister Edi Rama said when he met in Tirana with Haradinaj that he is hoping Haradinaj will soon change the opposition stance on demarcation.
Apostolova, after meeting with PDK officials, said the demarcation issue must be carried out.
“The demarcation is either yes or no, we can't help you. The demarcation must be completed. I don't want to get involved in the guilt game. This condition is accepted by you, ask your people why they have accepted this condition then”, Apostolova said.
