A reported international fugitive has been arrested in Durres.
According to first local police data: Durim Keci, sentenced to prison in the neighbouring state on several counts of drug trafficking and prostitution, has been placed in handcuffs.
His arrest has been aimed at extradition to Italy. Kechi was driven by a vehicle in which a firearm was found without permission.

In Italy, the 40-year-old is considered one of the most dangerous persons in the Albanian mafia.
Even during a court hearing, Durim Keci, who has used the name Gezim Hajidini, has threatened Italian Antimafia prosecutors.
