Works stopped at an facility in Fushe Kosovo, Inspectorate finds serious security violations

Central Labour Inspectorate (IQP) has banned work on a construction facility on “Ele Berisha” in Fushe Kosovo, as during inspection it has outlined violations that risked the lives and health of workers.
The IQP reported that the inspection was conducted shortly after the institution was reported on the serious risk posed by the country, which is facing the AAB facility.
” During inspections in the building facility, inspectors have recorded the lack of sidelocks on the docks, lack of stickers (anchoption), and other open spaces in the facility, which pose direct risks to the safety of workers and citizens”, the report says.
Due to these violations and with the aim of preventing danger, the IQP said de “has been made the decision to halt the works immediately and place the official ban tape in the location”.
“Central Labour Inspector remains committed to overseeing implementation of labour legislation and will continue to take necessary legal measures against any subject that does not respect the requirements for security and health at work”, the report said.
