(an hour ago)The incumbent Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, has estimated that relations between Albanians and Americans are special and that they originate well before the recent war in Kosovo, stressing the historic role of the Albanian diaspora in strengthening these ties.
Kurt made these statements on the occasion of waiting in his office of a group of guests from California, Washington, Man's Island and Bulgaria, which are visiting Kosovo under the <x0Ethno Tour 2026” programme, organised by anthropologist Janet Reineck.
According to him, the relationship between Albanians and Americans “has been unique not only by the end of the last century and liberation war, but since the arrival of the first Albanian immigrants to the United States since the XIX” as it added that this story led to the founding of the PanAlbanian Federation of America “Vatra” in Boston in 1912.
“Since President Woodrow's support Wilson to the influence of Albanian altar and thinker in exile, Fan Noli, our diaspora has played a key role in building and preserving this precious collusion”, Kurti wrote, the Kosovo Press broadcast.
He stressed that during the meeting with Janet Reineck, they also talked about Kosovo's progress and the role of the Albanian diaspora.

According to Kurti, during the meeting with participants of “Ethno Tour 2026”, which are professionals in areas such as environmental engineering, urban planning, health, education and information technology, was also discussed on human rights, culture, education, elderly services, agriculture and the economy.
