(2 hours ago)Kosovo police have published images of the firearm, caricators and bullets seized after the tragic case in the Decani Strell Mountains, where a person lost his life as a result of the gunshot wounds.
According to police, the case was reported on July 23, 2026, in the courtyard of a statue in the Stralci Mountains, where police units were immediately on the scene.
The medical team has ascertained the victim's death, while the suspected person has been arrested. During the investigation, authorities have seized a firearms, an empty clip and 24 bullets.
Regional Investigation Sector investigators at DDRP Pec, in co-ordination with the State Prosecutor, are continuing investigations into the case, which has been named “homicide by carelessness”.
At the prosecutor's order, the victim's lifeless body has been sent to the Pristina Institute of Legal Medicine for Obligation, while the suspect has been detained for 48 hours after the interview.
