Hadziu's decision on Serbian prosecutors reacts to US Embassy

U.d. President Albulen Haxhiu has decreed the final departure of 20 Serbian prosecutors who had fled their jobs in 2022.
On this issue, the US Embassy in Pristina, in a response to the Gazette Express, has said the Constitution of Kosovo guarantees the representation of Serbs in the country's institutions.
The embassy further in response says they expect the Kosovo government to ensure that Serbs have equal opportunities and that they will be able to participate fully in political and civic life.
The “Constitution and Kosovo laws guarantee representation of Kosovo Serbs in the country's institutions. We expect the Kosovo government to ensure that Kosovo Serbs have equal opportunities and to be able to participate fully in Kosovo's political and civic life. We're going to continue to contribute to this”, an embassy spokesman said.
In this regard, the European Union has reacted yesterday, expressing concern for the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council's decision and the U.d. President Haxhiu.
