Belgium eliminates the United States from the World

Belgium has secured a seat in the World Cup quarterfinals after convincingly defeating the United States of America by 1:4, making Americans third place co-organizer eliminated from the tournament.
The star of the match was Charles De Kjetlaere, who achieved two goals and led the Belgians to a deserved victory.
Americans held a pale appearance, despite the return to formation of attacker Folarin Balog. The latter was allowed to play after FIFA suspended for 12 months the implementation of an automatic punishment from a match, following US President Donald Trump's request for red card review that Balog had received in the last round. However, the US's best scorer in this world, with three goals, remained almost isolated throughout the meeting.
Belgium passed through the upper hand in the 9th minute, when Nicolas Raskin was assisting Charles De Kjetlaere, who was not mistaken in the vicinity.
The U.S. tied up in the 31st minute, thanks to a punishment shot by Malik Tillman, who went astray from Hans Vanake and ended up in the net.
However, just two minutes later, Belgians restored the advantage. De Kofferere achieved his second goal of the evening with his head, after a precise crossdown by Leandro Trosard.
In the second part, Belgium took advantage of a mistake by goalie Matt Freese. De Kétellere grabbed the ball from the American guard, while Hans Vanacken scored for 1:3 with an exact shot from outside the area.
The last goal was carried out by Romelu Lukak in the 93th minute, sealing victory of 1:4 with a low kick from a narrow corner.
With this success, Belgium advances to the quarterfinals, where on Friday in Los Angeles it will face Spain, the European champion in power, who provided the qualifications after defeating Portugal by a minimum score of 1:0. / Periscopi/
