“I'm a player, leave me”, the embarrassing moment in Spain's camp, the security guards don't know the national star.

One of the most unusual and comical moments of the 2026 World Cup took place at the Spanish training camp in Tennessee, where national attacker Borja Iglesias faced an unexpected situation before joining his teammates.
According to images published by 33-year-old football player El Chiringuito, he was banned from security staff near the entrance of the training complex and was not initially allowed to enter the team's premises.
The reason was as simple as incredible: security workers did not recognise the Spanish player and doubted his identity.
Iglesias tried to explain to the guards that he was part of Spain's national and that he should enter the camp, but his words did not suffice to convince them.
"I'm an attacker of the national team, I need to get inside", he reportedly told security employees.
However, security procedures continued and the footballer was forced to wait until additional verifications were carried out.
Only after several calls and confirmations from responsible persons did Iglesias get permission to enter and join the rest of the team.
The event spread rapidly on social networks, where the video became viral and caused numerous reactions from fans. /Telegraph/
