Mexico Postes World Cup List

Mexican goalkeeper Guilermo Ochoa will make history becoming the first player from his country to take part in a sixth World Cup. Coach Javier Aguire has included the 40-year-old on the final list of 26 players for the next tournament.
With this presentation, Ochoa equates the turnout record with Lionel Messi and Cristian Ronaldo, ranking among the greatest names in world football history. He leaves behind Mexican legends such as Antonio Carbayal, Andres Guardado, and Rafa Marquez, who had played in five worlds.
Ochoa debuted in the 2006 World Cup and was protagonist in several tours, including showing Brazil in 2014 and crucial expectations at the edition of 2018, as well as a penalty expected in 2022. However, this time he is not expected to be the first choice at the gate, as Raul Rangel is seen as the leading goalkeeper.
According to reports, Ochoa may have minutes at the group stage, depending on Mexico's performance in the tournament.
Mexico's team brings a combination of new experience and players. Names such as Raul Jimenez, Edson Alvarez and Johann Vasquez, which are expected to be an important part of the formation, are on the list.
Mexico, along with the US and Canada as host of the tournament, aims to return to historic successes at the World Cup.
