KSF, police, most reliable institutions in Kosovo

Kosovo Security Force (FSK) and Kosovo Police continue to enjoy the highest level of public confidence in the country, according to the results of the Regional Survey We Balkans 2026.
According to published data, 87.4 per cent of citizens have expressed confidence in the KSF, while 85.6 per cent in the Kosovo Police, ranking these two institutions as the most reliable in the Republic of Kosovo, Duguagjini reports.

Kosovo police have praised this result as evidence of professionalism, commitment and continued commitment by police officials in ensuring public order, security and rule of law.
In the statement, police stressed that citizens' trust constitutes the foundation of police work and an important indicator of the partnership between the institution and the community. According to her, this assessment serves as an additional incentive to continue working to protect life, property, and the security of all citizens.
Poll results also show that citizens continue to consider security, rule of law and fighting corruption among the main priorities for the country's development.
A significant portion of respondents have estimated that strengthening law enforcement and fighting corruption should remain the focus of institutions.
Kosovo police have reaffirmed their commitment to fighting all forms of crime, including organised crime, corruption, trafficking and other criminal acts that violate public safety. The institution has announced that it will continue to invest in the development of professional capacities, institutional transparency and co-operation with citizens, local institutions and international partners.
In the end, Kosovo Police have expressed gratitude for the continued trust and support of citizens, promising to continue working professionally, integrity and transparency in the service of security and rule of law.
