Haradinaj: Without opposition agreement, Kosovo will continue to live in “epoque Kurti”

Former AAK leader Ramush Haradinaj has said the opposition has failed to establish a joint political agreement and a common candidate, assessing that, under these circumstances, the country will continue to be guided by the agenda of the Vetevendosje Movement and incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
Haradinaj has stressed that only a union of opposition with a clear political contract and with a common candidate for president could change the current political situation in the country.
“We are living in the Kurti era, which comes to him when there is one, 40% or over 40 deputies, will implement his agenda in Kosovo. Our influence, or we could live with not only his age but also the era of others, if we had a common contract as opposition. So, AAK and LDK, the PDK, even a concrete plan, a concrete” candidacy, he said.
According to him, the lack of an organised opposition alternative is enabling Kurt to continue with his policies and bring the country back to the polls.
While we don't have a contract and we have an offer, we live in Kurti era, in Kurti's agenda and he's going to implement what he knows best, a kind of experimentation with Kosovo and send us to the elections again. So that's what knows what's happening. From my long political experience I am reading this”, he said.
Haradinaj has also talked about the possibility of electing the president, saying the opposition could become a crucial factor if it reaches common agreement, Online Economy reports, Periscopi broadcasts.
The “Oposion can therefore enter and be a factor in taking the country's destiny into hand, having a contract between itself and a presidential candidacy. If one of the opposition gets the support of the opposition, however I would support it, if I were proposed (for president) I would examine it. So, I'm not a candidate, I have no conditions, I have no application for anyone. We do not become part of the governance or continuation of Kurti government, that we have explained several times how damaging and how much loss it is to Kosovo. If I said it again, unless the VV falls below 40%, we'll live in Kurti's era, Kurti's agenda, the Kurti experiment. We can prevent this, we can change only if we get together the opposition”, he said.
